Lilly Fong – Nude Feathered Cocktail Dress

This is a nude chiffon dress composed of two parts. The main dress is a lined drop waist silk sleeveless dress with a high round neckline. Attached along the neckline and falling over the top of the main dress is a loose chiffon cape. The cape has thin matching nude and pale blue marabou feathers sewn into the edges of either side, acting like cuffs on a sleeve, where the cape would rest on the wrists. There are clasps along the edges at the back of the cape to connect it above the zip of the main dress. The brand is Saba California.

This dress would have been well suited to social events attended by Lilly Fong and is typical of Lilly’s preference for comfortable yet elegant clothing that allowed for free movement.
