Sensory-Friendly Exploration Hours
At the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to explore, learn and connect with our state’s rich history in a welcoming, engaging environment. That’s why we offer Sensory-Friendly Exploration Hours, an experience designed specifically for individuals who prefer a calmer, sensory-conscious setting.
An hour before the Museum opens to the general public, we can open our doors for a quieter, more controlled visit. Individuals can explore the Museum without the hustle and bustle and noise of typical museum crowds. This time is ideal for individuals with sensory sensitivities, neurodivergence, disabilities or groups that serve those who might prefer a quieter, more customized experience. Families and caregivers are welcome as well.
H2: Schedule Your Visit
Sensory-Friendly Exploration is offered every third Monday of the month. However, if this schedule doesn’t work for your group, we are happy to work with you to find a time that better suits your needs.
