This tour highlights key people, places, and innovations that contributed to the nation’s seventh-largest state, from early statehood to the rise of Las Vegas as the entertainment capital of the world.

Nevada State Symbols
Learn how Ichthyosaurs once swam in the prehistoric seas that covered what is now Nevada and discover the official state symbols that celebrate its unique identity. Students will examine native plants, animals, and minerals while learning how Nevada earned its title as the Battle Born State.
