How to Create a Graphic Novel, Presentation and Talk by Deborah A. Fox

Hosted by the Nevada State Museum Department of Learning and Community Engagement, this event is geared to anyone who loves to draw and tell stories. In this program, author and artist Deborah A. Fox deconstructs the processes involved in creating a graphic novel along with story and illustration tips. Using her own award-winning graphic novel, The Man Who Beat Death Valley as a case study, Fox will reveal the shocking details that motivated her four-year project. Fox describes Manly’s amazing true story relevant to Southern Nevada and explains her creative decisions.
