Explore Nevada’s transformation from Indigenous hunter-gatherer communities to the state we know today through a guided tour of the permanent gallery, followed by an interactive trivia game.
This Focus Friday, trace the history of baskets from essential tools of daily life to celebrated works of art, revealing how Indigenous traditions adapted amid economic and social change brought by settlement.

Enjoy themed museum experiences, offering guided gallery tours, collection highlights, and hands-on activities centered on a focused topic.
Recommended for ages 10 and up. Designed for homeschool groups, teens, and adults who enjoy discussion-based, lifelong learning. Space is limited to 25 participants. Advance reservations are encouraged to guarantee a spot. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
