Nevada Pioneers

What do we think of when we think of pioneers?

They learned to do without things, they built new communities wherever they settled, they had to endure punishing weather, sudden illnesses, unforeseen accidents, and shortages of food. More than any other factor, pioneers believed there was a better life where they were headed.

This trunk explores the stories of Nevada pioneers, and the lives they built in strange and new places, far from the places they were born.
