Among the most significant holdings in the Gaming Collection are the business and personal papers of famed gaming designer Michael “Mickey” Wichinsky, together with both prototypes and commercial versions of his gaming devices. The Richard and Nancy Greeno Collection includes Las Vegas ephemera and memorabilia from the 1950s through the beginning of the 21st century. In addition, the Museum has collections of promotional and publicity material for gaming properties throughout Nevada; photograph collections [particularly the J. Florian Mitchell and William, Jr. and Fran Belknap Collections]; and artifacts which include gaming machines and furniture, souvenirs, and costumes and textiles.
