Prejudice & Pride: The Fight to Vote – Exhibit Opening

This year is the Centennial of the Ratification of the 19th Amendment giving women in the US the right to vote. Yet, it was not the answer for all women, and was not the end of the fight to win suffrage for all.
The exhibit: “Prejudice & Pride: The Fight to Vote”, puts women’s suffrage into context with other US suffrage challenges, changes and successes since the ratification of the US Constitution; accompanied by artifacts that have their own stories to tell, the exhibit strives to describe that journey to modern day.
