Discover more about the legacy of Joe Louis – one of the most historically influential and greatest boxers of all time.  Not only an outstanding sportsman, Joe also had a far-reaching cultural impact. He was a nationwide hero in the run up to World War II, he broke the sport’s color barrier appearing in a PGA golf event in 1952 and he was part owner of the Moulin Rouge Hotel and Casino in 1955 – the first integrated casino in Las Vegas.
George Joseph, Joe’s son-in-law, will speak about his life and his legacy with other members of the family:
  • Candice Joseph – Joe’s daughter and George’s wife
  • John Louis Barrow – Joe’s son
  • Amber Young – Joe’s daughter
  • Limmie Tiger – Joe’s grandson and boxer
