The Friends of NSMLV September meeting will be held on Thursday, September 16. Doors open 2.00pm for 2.30pm start at the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas.
Carmen Beals, Associate Curator and Outreach Director from the Nevada Museum of Art will present Ugo Rondinone’s Seven Magic Mountains, one of the largest land art installations in the world. It is located in Southern Nevada and co-produced by the Nevada Museum of Art and the Art Production Fund. Created by renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, this public work of art is visited by over 1000 people per day. Please stop by to learn about its history and its future! Also, get a fun sneak preview of the future exhibition that the Nevada Museum of Art and the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas are collaborating on.
The doors will open at 2:00 PM for sign-in and socializing
