The Friends of NSMLV monthly general meeting is open to the public.
The Friends’ March 18 general membership meeting will feature guest speaker Claytee White, Director of UNLV Oral History program. Claytee will talk about the civil rights movement in Las Vegas covering the time period that Blacks lived downtown, their move to the west side of the tracks, work on the Hoover Dam, employment at Basic Magnesium Incorporated, and Integration of the City.
