Black Economic Presence & Mobility in Sin City

Black Economic Presence & Mobility in Sin City

Join us for this third event in our Obsidian & Neon Black History Month Speaker Series as we explore Black economic presence in our city – moderated by CEO of Sumnu Marketing, Shaundell Newsome.
More than 150 years after Emancipation, the wealth gap persists. Black households possess only 10 cents in wealth for every dollar held by white households, with white Americans earning $1 million more over a working lifetime than Black counterparts.
Join us as we discuss the state of Black business, home ownership and upward mobility with:

  • Hannah Brown
  • Rose McKinney-James
  • Ricky Towers
  • Maticia Sudah
